Tips and information on camping stoves

I recently picked up a folding camping stove, that is similar to the esbit kind. It works fine, but the tablets smell horribly like fish. Are there odorless, or less smelly fuel tabs available for this kind of stove? Im using basically an esbit folding stove, as seen here http://www.esbit.de/index.php?id=304, and its the first stove. I had bought a Coleman Model 508 camping stove at a garage sale for , and it smells like gas. When I light it, it burns for about 2 seconds then goes out. How do I fix it so it burns constantly until I turn it off, and get it to not smell like gas? [...]
