Where to Put Your Stove

Designing one’s room may be hard at times especially when you do not know what you really want to put inside it.  If there is furniture or gadgets that you like to see in your room, estimate the space it would need before you move it in.  Getting the things inside is one thing, arranging them is another one.  Kids are always on the run and they tend to reach for the things that they like, it is the job of the adults to see to it that sharp objects and hazardous chemicals are not in the arms length of the child.  Take for example the kitchen, just one slip from the hands of the child; because of the camping chef stoves and carelessness can arise to burns.

The kitchen is perhaps the most dangerous place for a kid.  There are liquids like detergents that they might mistake for juice or beverage.  The knives can look to them like swords as they see in movies.  They might even play with coleman propane stoves pretending that they are cooking.  The oven might seem to be a nice hiding place for their toys because the door can easily go up and down.  You just need to be observant and inspect your appliances before you use them.  There might be a hidden surprise waiting for you.

The most dangerous appliance in the kitchen is the camping stoves.  Even though you are finished using it, the stove remains hot for quite sometime.  The child might lean on it and then burn himself.  Keeping a close eye on the child can help avoid mishaps.  There are times that you need to do something, have a baby sitter or a friend who can watch over your kid temporarily.  You can also have your kid play near you so that you can still get on with what you need to do.

Keeping the coleman stoves and other electrical appliances out of the children’s reach is the best thing you can do for yourself and for the family.  Keeping them away from the children helps make you relax your mind from worrying.  At least with these appliances out of the way, that is one less thing to worry about.  Keeping the knives in the shelves is another great idea to hide it from the eyes of your kid.  The kids would not be tempted to play with it since they do not know where it is.

You can always put your camp chefs somewhere the kids would not easily reach.  There are times that the kids are clever enough to use some stools just to get the hold of it you must be there too.  If the children want to help in the kitchen, let them do the easy things like cleaning the vegetable and stuff like that.  You can also teach them how to slice or dice the other ingredients but make sure to let them use a safety glove so that their fingers are safe from cutting.
