Are you tired of eating
the same food on camping trips? Camping food doesn’t have
to be boring. Of course when you’re at a campground it’s
difficult and sometimes impossible to prepare the same foods as
you would at home. There’s no refrigerator, microwave, or
broiler in the wilderness. But that doesn’t mean that camping
food must be ordinary or tasteless. Preparing foods that are simple
to prepare, but will give you energy and excite your taste buds--might
be easier than you ever imagined. So before you even pack up your
camping stove, follow these tips to prepare meals with it that are
as practical as an fhi
runway iron:
• Instant food can provide you with a quick and hearty meal.
Instant hot chocolate, oatmeal, pancakes, noodles, and soup are
some options. Just use a pot on your camping stove and warm up some
water in it. Then you’re ready to dig in!
• Meats complete a meal prepared on a camping stove like an
fhi heat runway hair straightener completes your arsenal of hair
tools. The old standbys of hamburgers and hot dogs are excellent
choices. Also, keep in mind that thinner cuts will cook faster than
thicker cuts. And to prevent the meat from drying out when it’s
cooking, marinate it at home or at the campgrounds.
• Prepare one or two “fancy” meals for your camping
trip, which will require your cooking stove. This will (literally)
add some spice to your trip, like an FHI
HEAT Hot Sauce Special
can spice up your hairdo. However, limiting the number of gourmet
meals you prepare won’t require you to haul too much food
with you.
• After driving to the campsite, you might be too tired to
prepare an elaborate meal. So you can prepare the dinner for your
first night camping--at home! Prepare whatever food you like (i.e.
a hearty stew), place it in an air-tight plastic bag, and then freeze
it. Next, put the meal in a Coleman cooler, to make sure that it
stays frozen during your drive to the campsite. When you get to
the campsite, simply place the meal in a pot of cold water, and
then warm it up slowly…voila! Lunch (or dinner) is served!
• If you’re on a diet, take a vacation from it while
on a camping trip—unless deviating from it could literally
create a “life or death” situation. Camping is an escape
from your everyday life, so live it up!
• Plan all of your meals before your camping trip. When you
return home, you’ll be ready to use the flat
iron, but will probably too exhausted to put away any items
that you haven’t used.
• Most of your meals should be as simple as using an outstanding
fhi heat runway hair straightener. Bring foods that are easy to
prepare on your camping stove, and that won’t spoil easily.
This can include canned pasta, canned meats, and the old standby:
baked beans.
• Are you a fan of chicken and pasta? One quick and easy meal
is to chop up chicken breasts into small pieces. Add spices and
then cook the chicken in a sauce pan. Next, add instant pasta mix
and follow the package’s directions.
• Popcorn is a tasty and convenient snack when camping. Use
the kind that’s already packaged in its own container. This
food is filling and requires no cleanup!
Once you’ve secured a camping stove, it’s time to make
it as useful as the best flat iron. But the meals you prepare with
it don’t have to be particularly gourmet or time-consuming.
With the right amount of planning, you can turn your campground
into a 4-star restaurant!
